First Reformed Church Women’s Bible Study/Ministry exists to GROW women spiritually and relationally with the triune God, CONNECT women, in different ages and stages, within the church and the community, provide an opportunity to SERVE the body of Christ within our church or community and be willing to GO locally and globally when the LORD calls. Doing all of this so that we may grow together in the faith, knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

The purpose of the Women's Bible study is to grow in intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through daily study and application of the Scriptures, prayer, and building relationships through multigenerational small groups as given example in Titus 2: 3-4.

Likewise teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Winter Bible Study 2021

Today, people want to deny the existence of absolute truth. We need the truth of the gospel and practical ways to pursue holiness found in the truth of God’s Word. In The Pursuit of Holiness, Jerry Bridges helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do―and what we should take responsibility for ourselves. As you deepen your relationship with God, learn more about His character, and understand the Holy Spirit’s role in holiness, your spiritual growth will mature.
